Welcome to the first ever Memorable Monday here at Escape In A Book! To celebrate this we are giving away a book to one of this weeks participants. The winner will be announced in next weeks Memorable Monday post.
The idea behind Memorable Monday?
The idea for this meme first came to me when I was writing down a quote. I know I'm not the only one out there saving beautiful, magic, romantic, dramatic, teasing, engaging, thought provoking quotes while reading books. So I thought why not share these wonderful quotes in a weekly meme. A meme where we can all share quotes that we like for some reason or another. I spent a lot of time on Google trying to figure out if someone did the same kind of meme, but I couldn't find any so here it is :)
How to participate?
1. Share a quote that has captured your interest lately in a Memorable Monday post on your blog. Feel free to grab my logo (download it to your computer first).
2. Come back here and leave the link to your post in our inlinkz widget.
3. It would be nice if you visited one or two of the other participants.
4. If you tweet your posts then feel free to use the hastag #MemorableMonday
This first time random.org will pick one of the participants and he or she will get a book of their choice.
My very first Memorable Monday quote is from Night School by C.J. Daugherty which I, literally, just finished. It was a great read, a thriller/mystery with a dash of cute guys and some snogging added. So make sure you grab a copy to find out what it's all about! My quote is from page 390 in the UK paperback edition:
'That's better.' She sipped her tea reflectively, then focused her gaze on Allie. 'There is nothing wrong in the world that isn't made better by a good cup of tea...'
For a tea-addict like me that is a excellent statement ;)

DeleteHey, I love your blog, and would love it if you would check out my blog. I'm just getting started and it is really hard to get any circulation around. I would greatly appreciate the help in spreading the word, I'll be spreading the word on yours, I love how you write your reviews and the varieties you have in your books.
ReplyDeleteI also have another blog that is slightly older and I post, now mostly original poetry or how my day was, or scenes/chapters from play's/books of my original work. I would appreciate your feedback on whether you my poetry/writing is any good.
