My top 10 from the first quarter of 2011



Inspired by kathy's post Best of 2011, So Far over at her blog Read This Instead. I wanted to give a short summary of my favorites so far this year.

In total by the end of March I'd started 26 books and finsihed 25, the one was one I just couldn't finish.

My favorites so far:
Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
Delirium by Lauren Oliver
The Last Full Measure by Ann Rinaldi
Carrie Pilby by Caren Lissner
First Drop of Crimson by Jeaniene Frost

Some of my favorites I haven't yet reviewed and those are: 
Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
Firelight by Sophie Jordan
Here Lies Bridget by Paige Harbison
The Thirteenth Tale: A Novel by Diane Setterfield
The Distant Hours by Kate Morton

So that's my favorites so far this year. Do tell me yours :)

    I agree with you regarding Unearthly and The Distant Hours. Both were awesome! I really enjoyed Delirium as well. I've been meaning to read Firelight!

    I have only read Firelight & Perfect Chemistry, and I really liked those two. The other books on your list sounds great too!

    Night Road by Kristin Hannah and I'm not a Serial Killer by Dan Wells are my favourites so far.

    Great list! I've heard a lot of great things about Delirium... I'll have to check out your review. I haven't heard of a couple of those but I'm going to see if my library has them. :)

    So far, my favourite adult book is Room by Emma Donoghue, and my fave YA is The Body Finder. I must get my hands on Delirium soon :-) Great post, it really made me think about what I've read this year.
