Paris is indeed romantic but I think Prague is the most romantic city I´ve ever been. Stare Mesto, the old part of the town, is so mysterious and beautiful with narrow streets and all it`s spears and towers. By night it`s magical:-)
ReplyDeleteOne of the most romantic places I've ever seen is a beach on Bornholm which is an island in the Baltic Sea. It belongs to Denmark actually. The beach over there is AMAZING, but at the same time trees and small hills are very close. And in summer, when the sun is shining beautifully, it's an awesome idea to visit one of the castle ruins. Bornholm is really wonderful in general.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this giveaway!

I think I would have to say that the most romantic place I've been is some mountaintop here in Norway. Imagine sitting there and wathcing the sun rise. I've never been the most romantic person, but I've always thought romantic + nature = success!

Hi ladies~! *waves* Thank you for a great post - loved all the pictures that Amy included and it was so fun to read about those plces!
ReplyDeleteMy most romantic place would be Hong Kong. Why? Because my (now) husband (then-practically a stranger), Jaesung, invited me to join him on trip there, and in the evening he took me on a boat ride around the HK island. I had no idea about the light show that was about to happen! it was around 9 at night, we had a glass of wine on the boat, it was hot and humid and just soooo beautiful. He then took out his iPhone and we shared a set of earphones while he played "The City of Blinding Lights" by u2 at the exact time when the light show started (fireworks and laser show!). It was sooooo breathtaking, I cried! And then he proposed to me.
Seriously, there's no place in the world that would more romantic than Hong Kong at that time... :D
Thank you for a wonderful contest! I would LOVE to win both Die For Me and Until I Die! <3

My husband & I went to Maui for our honeymoon and I thought that was really romantic. We had dinner outside overlooking the beach at sunset every night. The air smells like hibiscus flowers. And the way of life is so much more relaxed there. Hopefully we can go back soon!

Since I have not left my country, the most romantic place I have been is Niagara-on-the-Lake, the old town. Especially in Winter, near Christmas, the town comes alive with horse carriage rides and all. It is most beautiful and very romantic.
ReplyDeletefreda.mans[at]gmail.com
This is amazing! Those places are all gorgeous! I studied Mont-St. Michel (architecture, art, history) and I've always found it beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI think Venice is one of the most romantic places on earth.
Congrats Amy on such a unique concept and great characters:))

I would vote for a place with sun and sand such as St. Johns in the Virgin Islands.
ReplyDeleteputtputt1198eve@comcast.net
*Sigh* after reading the other comments, I feel so sad. I've never been to other countries that I can say, based from experience, that's romantic. But for me, currently, the most romantic place is still Paris. With all the lights, sounds and buildings, who wouldn't love Paris?

Oh you have the fabulous Amy! I think she is amazing! I love her list. The markets sound fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThe most romantic place I know of can be anywhere as long as I'm with someone I love. True love can make any ordinary place extraordinary :)

The most romantic place I've ever been to is my grandfather's beach home... white sand, see-through water, dense forest all around, tranquil atmosphere... a place to be alone with your special someone :)

I haven't been to any of these gorgeous romantic places and they all sound so lovely. It might sound corny, but Cinderella's Castle at Walt Disney World at night when it is all lit up is absolutley beautiful. There's a bench that you can sit on right next to it by the water and it is quite magical, well to me at least.
ReplyDeletetanemaxx20(at)gmail(dot)com
Definitely Paris France. When I went, I just couldn't get over the couples. Everywhere....kissing...all the time. Plus, the scenery is just gorgeous. Can't go wrong!

ReplyDeleteCambonified(at)yahoo(dot)com
St Thomas is the most romantic place I have ever been. So beautiful there.
ReplyDeletevalerie(at)stuckinbooks.com
Mine would be Las Vegas. Its all the lights I think, just so pretty! I know it seems like the least romantic place ever, but I love it there!
ReplyDeletedrinkshrunkentears at gmail dot com
I don't know the exact name, but I always see these places on the cliffs in movies that are supposed to be in Greece, or in Italy on the ocean cliffs. I think those would be greatly romantic. I would love to win Die For Me as I've been waiting to read this series for a while, but have been too broke to buy it. my email is:

Ive been to St.Croix during a cruise and it was sooo beautiful I just loved all that clear water and white sandy beaches but I always wanted to go to London, Paris and Scotland too.

The most romantic place I have been to was Cairo, Egypt. Sitting in a gazebo on the Nile sipping tea in the moonlight while the river flowed past. Thank you for sharing the lovely photos of France, what a dream to see :)
ReplyDeletedz59001[at]gmail[dot]com
The images are so beautiful they make you sigh. Anywhere tropical I think of as romantic. All that sun, sand & sea.

Hi Amy! I was wondering if you live in Europe since so many of your most romantic places are here (European reader here *waves*) and especially in France. I agree, France and Italy and Scotland are so full of romantic and stunning places! I've been to Honfleur, St Malo and Mont St Michel this November and it was wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to choose only 1 or 2 romantic places I would say either the Chateaux of the valley of the Loire (must see!!) or the Champs Elysees at night with the lights on when the snow is falling and there aren't too many people *sighs* beautiful! Or any of the Scottish castles ;-))
Thank you for the generous giveaway, crossing my fingers here! ;-)

Hi Amy, this is an awesome giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWow...Those place look fantastic. I wish I can go there someday :)
For me, the most romantic place is Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta is one of the province in Indonesia. So many beautiful and hostorical places in there. Last year I spent a week with my husband in yogyakarta for holidays and it was amazing. Most people only know about Bali when they're asking about Indonesia. But there's so many beautiful places besides Bali and Yogyakarta is one of them.

I don't really know of anywhere romantic, but I think the Medici fountain is enchanting.
ReplyDeleteFindjessyhere at gmail dot com
The most romantic place I have been to would have to be Italy. It's so amazing especially late at night when the little markets are all lit up as well as the fountains which look beautiful at night. There are a ton of romantic spots in Italy. Great now I wish I was going back sometime soon.
ReplyDeletespyblue78(at)gmail.com
Thee most romantic place I can think of is the Eiffel Tower in Paris and no it is not because I loved Dir For Me. I even painted a purple Eiffel Tower on my bedroom wall. I love it and can stare at it for hours. Who knows when I will get to visit it...sigh.

I loved my stay in Paris, but in terms of the most romantic city I've been to, I would have to pick Bruges, Belgium! It's just such a gorgeous place. I love the canals and the cobblestone streets. It's very small and intimate - I spent 4 days there doing nothing and I loved it!
ReplyDeleteSecond choice would be Varadero, Cuba - just because the beach there is GORGEOUS.
yabooksemail(at)gmail(dot)com
The most romantic place in my eyes is the beach on Fiji. I could live there forever. The sight of water alone makes me swoon.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the giveaway!

Well... I like a deserted beach in the middle of the Sonoran desert very, very much... but I know that would not be my Love's idea of romantic and I definitely need him there for the definition!! So... we're probably happiest when at the cold northern beach car show while eating delicious sea food carryout during the slow cruise parade of classic cars!! Lol. "Romance" requires happy guy AND girl, right?
ReplyDeleteI'd have to go with Paris too! I loved it! There's a reason why it's called the city of love ;)
