Have you seen the beautiful Norwegian 'Die for me' cover?

Like it, love it, hate it?
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the cover.

The Norwegian cover to the left , to the right we have the US cover.
I might not be entitled a vote in this matter but I do love the Norwegian cover. The more I look at it, the more I love it. After staring at it for several minutes now I think I might actually be a little bit in love. Look at that lovely purple haze over Paris and Kate lying there on her bed, perhaps mourning?

If you haven't read Die For Me by Amy Plum you might want to check out my review.

The cover design is by a talented Norwegian woman called Elisabeth Bjone, you can see more of Elisabeth's cover art here.

Book review: Die for me by Amy Plum

Die for me releases today(e-book and UK version, US May 10th)!! Happy book birthday!
My summary:
Kate world was turned upside down the moment she lost both her parents in a horrible car crash. Now she and her sister Georgia has moved to Paris, France, to live with their grandparents. Kate spends her days in her room, escaping between the pages of a book. Eventually Kate decides that she might go out on a café to read instead of sitting alone in her room. That day she meets the mysteriously and handsome Vincent Delacroix and her life will never, ever be the same again no matter what happens next..

My thoughts:
Die for Me was like a breath of fresh air to me. The supernatural theme was something new and unique, I've never read anything quite like it. The romance is similar to the romance in other paranormal romances but it's still good.

The setting is amazing, I almost believed that I was in Paris while reading. Plum's way of describing the surroundings was very picturesque.

Kate is a great character with her head in the right place, just the way I like it. She doesn't make any unnecessary drama, which I really loved about her, it makes her stand out against a lot of other female protagonists. I didn't fall head over heels for Vincent as a character but I'm sure most people would love him as a love interest. I did however fall for another character one of Vincents friend, a flirty and fun kind of guy named Jules. He reminded me so much of a friend of mine.

I kept feeling sure that I knew where this was headed but Mrs. Plum sure fooled me. I'm eagerly anticipating the next novel; Until I Die.

Book trailer:

Listen to Amy talking about Die for Me:

The cover:
I love how Kate is standing on the roof top looking out over Paris. Reminded me of a very romantic setting in the book(even though it wasn't on a roof top at all).

My rating of this book:
4 stars out of 5
